Senior stylist & salon owner
Introducing Amy, our Senior Stylist and visionary Salon Owner. Amy embarked on her entrepreneurial journey in 2009 when she established FM Hair Studio in Chicago's historical Fulton Market district. In 2020, she followed her heart's calling and relocated the salon to her cherished neighborhood of Avondale.
The new space, meticulously crafted by Amy, serves as a sanctuary where both men and women can escape, unwind, and luxuriate in individualized attention. Ensuring her clients' utmost satisfaction, Amy merges her 18+ years of industry experience with a commitment to continuous education. Specializing in lived-in balayage, tape-in extensions, Brazilian Blowout treatments, and personalized haircuts.
When she is not at the salon, Amy embraces her loving role as the fun-loving aunt, relishing in time spent with her adoring nephews and nieces. An adventurous spirit, she delights in exploring new destinations, savoring culinary delights at local eateries, and honing her culinary skills at home. And, of course, her lovable pup Belicito receives her undivided attention and affection, completing her world of love and joy.
Jose
Hair stylist
Jose graduated Paul Mitchell the School of Chicago in 2015 having been inspired to style hair by the effortless, beachy, tousled hair found on runways and in magazines.
After graduation, he became an expert in beautiful blowouts/styling and truly believes that a good blow-dry is the cherry on top of everything. Creative, talented, and passionate about his work, he has built a career as a successful hairstylist built on keeping up with trends and continuous education.
He currently specializes in blowouts, hair color, balayage, women’s haircut and brazilian blowouts.
Jose brings a passion for fashion, the pulse of our neighborhood, and a signature vibe to the FM family.
Jasmine
Junior Stylist
Introducing Jasmine, our talented Junior Stylist. Jasmine acquired her cosmetology license from Tricocci University in 2020, showcasing her exceptional skills in the beauty field.
From a tender age, Jasmine has been captivated by the enchanting world of hair. This unwavering passion guided her towards a career in the beauty industry, enabling her to empower others and cultivate their beauty and confidence. Her expertise shines particularly in creating stunning highlights, executing flawless balayage techniques, and crafting fashionable long-layer haircuts.
When she's not sculpting captivating hairdos, Jasmine immerses herself in quality time spent alongside her beloved daughter. Exploring the vibrant city of Chicago is one of her favorite pastimes, constantly seeking new adventures and hidden gems to experience.
Kimberly
Hair Stylist
Meet Kimberly, our newest member of our FM hair team. A graduate of Tricoci University, Kimberly brings 6 years of experience in the industry, specializing in lived-in balayages and bright blondes. She is passionate about all things hair and can't wait to work her magic on you soon.
Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys taking her dog to parks, exploring new restaurants, and indulging in her love for baking.

Introducing Katie, our dedicated Salon Support Staff and Green Team Leader. Working hand in hand with our talented stylists, Katie provides invaluable support by expertly shampooing, blow drying, and styling hair. Her keen eye for detail ensures that our guests not only receive impeccable service but also leave feeling utterly relaxed and pampered.
Katie's passion extends beyond the salon to the well-being of our planet. As a stalwart member of Green Circle Salons, she spearheads our commitment to sustainability, channeling her enthusiasm towards keeping our environmental impact to a minimum.
